»Digitalen Wildwuchs« bei Sozialleistungen abbauen

Der Sozialstaat soll nicht kleiner werden, »sondern klüger«: Die Bundesarbeitsministerin Bärbel Bas fordert eine Verbesserung der IT in Ämtern und Behörden. Ziel sei unter anderem ein neues digitales Sozialportal.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
