„Garantiesicherung“ ohne Zwang?

Grünen-Chef Habeck schlägt in der Debatte um die Zukunft von Hartz IV eine grundlegend neue „Garantiesicherung“ vor. Zwänge und Sanktionen würden dann entfallen. Aus SPD und FDP kam bereits Kritik an dem Vorstoß.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
