Die Löhne in Deutschland sind 2025 deutlich gestiegen – doch das Plus war sehr ungleich verteilt: Beschäftigte ohne Berufsabschluss gewannen am meisten, Akademiker kaum. Woran liegt das?

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
