Ohne Aufschwung nützen Sanktionen nichts

Sanktionen gegen Arbeitsverweigerer bringen wenig, wenn die Wirtschaft nicht in Schwung kommt, meint Andrea Nahles. Grundsätzlich begrüßt die Chefin der Bundesagentur für Arbeit im BR24-Interview verschärfte Mitwirkungspflichten von Arbeitslosen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
