Zwar fallen durch den technischen Fortschritt viele Stellen weg, doch laut des Arbeitsministeriums bleibt die Arbeitsmarktentwicklung positiv, schreibt die Wirtschaftswoche.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
