Eine Reform, die keinem hilf

Die Regierung will Sozialleistungen für Ukrainer kürzen. Ein Besuch im Jobcenter Köln-Chorweiler zeigt: Am Ende hat niemand was davon.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
