Etwa 40 Prozent der Unternehmen erfüllen die Schwerbehindertenquote

Aktuell erfüllen über 60 Prozent der Unternehmen diese Pflicht nicht vollständig. Unternehmen in der öffentlichen Verwaltung weisen die höchsten Erfüllungsquoten auf. Der Anteil schwerbehinderter Beschäftigter steigt zudem mit der Unternehmensgröße.

Das Schicksal teilt ungerecht aus; und es gleicht die Ungerechtigkeiten nicht immer aus. Hier hat der Sozialstaat seine Aufgabe. Er sorgt dafür, dass der Mensch reale, nicht nur formale Chancen hat. …

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
