Mitarbeitende von Berliner Frauenhäusern protestieren gegen Einsparungen

Die Sparmaßnahmen des Berliner Senats könnten auch den Gewaltschutz für Frauen empfindlich treffen. Mit einer Protestaktion haben Mitarbeitende von Frauenhäusern nun auf die prekäre Lage der Einrichtungen aufmerksam gemacht.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
