Kolleg*innen und Vorgesetzte sind für Beschäftigte wichtige Informationsquellen im Bereich der Weiterbildung

Wie informieren sich Beschäftigte angesichts der Vielfalt über ihre Weiterbildungsmöglichkeiten? Die Daten der IAB-Onlinebefragung „Arbeiten und Leben in Deutschland“ zeigen, dass sich viele vor allem in ihrem betrieblichen Umfeld umhören.

Das Schicksal teilt ungerecht aus; und es gleicht die Ungerechtigkeiten nicht immer aus. Hier hat der Sozialstaat seine Aufgabe. Er sorgt dafür, dass der Mensch reale, nicht nur formale Chancen hat. …

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
