Mehr als drei Millionen Arbeitslose im August

Sommerpause und Konjunkturschwäche lassen die Arbeitslosigkeit in Deutschland so hoch steigen wie seit 2015 nicht mehr. Für Arbeitnehmer ziehen die Reallöhne weiter an.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
