Das stille Scheitern der Jobcenter

Die Politik setzt auf Druck: Wer Arbeit ablehnt, soll keine Leistungen mehr beziehen. Doch Jobcenter vermitteln kaum noch Jobs – zu manchem Kunden fehlt jahrelang jeder Kontakt.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
