Entwicklung der Ausgaben im Zweiten Buch Sozialgesetzbuch (Bürgergeld) in den Jahren 2024 und 2025

Im Jahr 2024 hat der Zahlungsanspruch von Bürgergeldempfängern insgesamt bei rund 46,91 Milliarden Euro gelegen. Das geht aus der Antwort der Bundesregierung auf eine Kleine Anfrage der AfD-Fraktion hervor.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
