Sozialkaufhäusern könnte mittelfristig das Aus drohen

Im Kaufhaus der Mettmanner und im „Der Laden“ werden Langzeitarbeitslose wieder an den Arbeitsmarkt herangeführt. Doch die geringer werdende Anzahl dieser sogenannten AGH stellt die Träger vor Herausforderungen − nicht nur in Mettmann.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
