Bas will „mafiöse Strukturen“ zerschlagen

Beim Bürgergeld haben sich Union und SPD auf Änderungen geeinigt – und auch der Name soll verschwinden. Arbeitsministerin Bas plant außerdem mehr Maßnahmen gegen den Missbrauch von Sozialleistungen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
