Milliardenloch bei der Bundesagentur für Arbeit

Die anhaltende Wirtschaftskrise trifft die Bundesagentur für Arbeit hart. Weil mehr Menschen arbeitslos sind und Firmen Kurzarbeit anmelden, braucht die Behörde dieses Jahr Milliarden aus der Staatskasse.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
