Weil ein EU-Fördertopf leer ist, will Bremen Angebote der Arbeitsförderung einstellen. Langzeitarbeitslose und Beratungsstellen sind besonders betroffen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
