Ausgegebene EU-Gelder: Bremen stopft offenbar erstes Millionenloch

So ist zumindest für dieses Jahr der Etat gesichert für Maßnahmen der Arbeitsförderung und bei Sozialprojekten, an denen Hunderte Jobs in Bremen und Bremerhaven hängen. Vor allem von Menschen, die es ohnehin schwer auf dem Arbeitsmarkt haben.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
