Diskussion ums Bürgergeld: Grundsicherung ja, aber richtig

Aus Hartz IV wurde vor gut zwei Jahren das Bürgergeld. Das kommt jetzt weg, haben Union und SPD im Koalitionsvertrag festgelegt. Es ist wichtig, zu differenzieren.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
