Bürgergeld: Sozialforscher rechnet mit Rückabwicklung

Der verschärften Kurs in Sachen Bürgergeld ist vor allem politpsychologisch zu interpretieren, sagt Sozialforscher Stefan Sell. Denn das Einsparvolumen sei gering.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
