20 Jahre Hartz IV – was hat es gebracht?

Im Januar 2005 trat eine der größten Sozialreformen Deutschlands in Kraft. Arbeitslosen- und Sozialhilfe wurden zusammengelegt. Was hat Hartz IV gebracht? Was braucht man heute?

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
