In den nächsten Jahren werden viele Menschen im öffentlichen Dienst in den Ruhestand gehen. Das kleinste Bundesland plant deshalb eine Ausbildungsoffensive.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
