Politikwechsel mit der Neuen Grundsicherung

Die CDU will mit ihrer Neuen Grundsicherung zeigen, wie beides miteinander verbunden werden kann: Eine gerechte Unterstützung für Hilfsbedürftige und klare Anreize, sich aktiv am Arbeitsmarkt zu beteiligen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
