Auf dem Arbeitsmarkt hat die Deindustrialisierung schon begonnen

Die Zahl der Erwerbstätigen in Deutschland erreichte 2024 einen neuen Rekordstand. Doch ein genauerer Blick offenbart Rückgänge in Industrie und Bau – ein Warnsignal für den Arbeitsmarkt. Ein Beitrag von Stefan Sell.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
