EU-Gelder fehlen: Bremen streicht Arbeitsförder-Projekte zusammen

Auch Bewerbungstrainings für Behinderte und eine Alphabetisierungsinitiative stehen von dem Aus. Finanziert wurden sie aus dem Europäischen Sozialfonds. Die Träger wurden kalt erwischt.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
