Berufstätige haben mehr Geld als Bürgergeldempfänger

Immer wieder behaupten Politiker, dass Bürgergeldempfänger ein höheres Einkommen hätten als Erwerbsarbeiter. Doch das ist falsch. Arbeit lohnt sich immer, wenn Berufstätige ergänzende Sozialleistungen in Anspruch nehmen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
