Hilft es, wenn der Staat die Lohnkosten übernimmt?

Vor fünf Jahren trat das Teilhabechancengesetz in Kraft – ein Förderprogramm, bei dem der Bund für Langzeitarbeitslose in neuen Jobs zeitweise den Lohn zahlt. Was hat es seitdem bewirkt?

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
