Arbeitslosengeld-Ausgaben 2012 bis September 2024

Die Ausgaben aus dem beitragsfinanzierte Arbeitslosengeld (SGB III) nähern sich immer mehr dem Höchstwert während der Corona-Pandemie zu Beginn des Jahres 2020 und liegen schon 1,5 Mrd. € über dem Sollwert für 2024.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
