Weniger Teilzeit könnte 1,7 Millionen zusätzliche Vollzeitstellen bringen

Der größte Hebel gegen den Arbeitskräftemangel liege in der Erhöhung der Arbeitszeit pro Kopf und nicht in der Erhöhung der Zahl der Erwerbstätigen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
