Immer mehr Menschen aus dem Ausland absolvieren in Deutschland eine Ausbildung. Ihr Anteil an den sozialversicherungspflichtig beschäftigten Auszubildenden wächst seit Jahren kontinuierlich an.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
