Arbeitslosengeld-Ausgaben 2012 bis April 2024

Auffallend gegenüber der Vor-Corona-Zeit sind die deutlich höheren und steigenden Ausgaben für das beitragsfinanzierte Arbeitslosengeld (SGB III) in den Jahren 2023 und 2024.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
