Individueller auf Langzeitarbeitslose eingehen

Wer arbeitslos ist, soll so schnell wie möglich in einen Job vermittelt werden – das wird bei der Diskussion über das Bürgergeld oft gefordert. Das mache aber nicht in jedem Fall Sinn, sagt die Chefin der Bundesagentur für Arbeit, Andrea Nahles.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
