Bremen schneidet in Armutsbericht erneut schlecht ab

Laut dem aktuellen Armutsbericht des Paritätischen Gesamtverbands hat das Land Bremen erneut die höchste Armutsquote. Fast jeder Dritte ist hier von Armut betroffen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
