Es bestehe ein hoher Bedarf an Fortbildungen zu Führungskompetenzen und Soft Skills. Bei der beruflichen Bildung für KMU wünsche sich die Wirtschaft mehr öffentliche Unterstützung.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
