Unionsfraktionsvize Mathias Middelberg hat einen Vorschlag, wie man den Haushalt um 30 Milliarden Euro entlasten könnte. Der CDU-Politiker will Bürgergeld-Empfängern kommunale Arbeitsangebote machen und im Zweifel den Regelsatz komplett streichen.

Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
