BAMF-Asylentscheidungen und Asylanträge 2014 bis Februar 2024

Gemessen an der Gesamtzahl der Entscheidungen im Januar und Februar 2024 wurde lediglich in 11,5 Prozent der Fälle eine Rechtsstellung als Flüchtling anerkannt. (Januar und Februar 2023: 14,4 Prozent; Januar und Februar 2022: 21,1 Prozent).

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
