In vielen Branchen herrscht Arbeitskräftemangel. Tatsächlich träumen in den Herkunftsländern viele gut Qualifizierte vom Auswandern. Doch diverse Hürden bremsen – und schlechte Erfahrungen in Deutschland.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
