Warum Arbeitskräfte trotz Rekordbeschäftigung und Rezession knapp sind

Die Gründe dafür sind ebenso zahlreich wie die negativen Konsequenzen für den Wohlstand. Ohne eine nachhaltige Steigerung der Produktivität werden sich diese Probleme nicht lösen lassen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
