Heil will mit Kehrtwende beim Bürgergeld 170 Millionen Euro einsparen

Wer den Job kündigt, um Bürgergeld zu beziehen, müsse schon bescheuert sein, hatte der Arbeitsminister im November gesagt. Inzwischen sieht er das offenbar anders.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
