Das Märchen vom würfelnden Minister

Niemand sollte so tun, als könne die Grundsicherung einfach per Federstrich geändert werden, um Milliarden zu sparen. Treten nach unten ist der falsche Weg – es gibt bessere. Ein Kommentar.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
