Handwerkspräsident Jörg Dittrich sieht den Kollaps der Baubranche vorerst abgewendet – wenn die Politik ihre Versprechen einhält. Auch beim Thema Flüchtlinge erwartet er mehr Flexibilität, damit die Betriebe sie beschäftigen können.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
