„Durchstarten in Ausbildung und Arbeit“

Seit 2020 wurden unter Koordination des Kommunalen Integrationszentrums im Amt für Integration und Vielfalt der Stadt Köln gemeinsam mit zahlreichen Trägern spezielle Angebote zur Teilnahme an Arbeit und Ausbildung entwickelt und umgesetzt.

Das Schicksal teilt ungerecht aus; und es gleicht die Ungerechtigkeiten nicht immer aus. Hier hat der Sozialstaat seine Aufgabe. Er sorgt dafür, dass der Mensch reale, nicht nur formale Chancen hat. …

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
