Resolution: „Nicht am falschen Ende sparen“

Gegen einen „sozialpolitischen Kahlschlag im Entwurf des Bundeshaushaltes“ wendet sich eine Resolution, die die Wuppertaler Grünen gemeinsam mit SPD, CDU und Linken in den Sozialausschuss eingebracht haben.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
