Sozialpolitischer Kahlschlag im Bundeshaushalts-Entwurf nicht hinnehmbar

Die GRÜNE Ratsfraktion in Wuppertal hat gemeinsam mit SPD, CDU und DIE LINKE eine Resolution eingebracht, die zunächst im Sozialausschuss und danach im Stadtrat diskutiert und beschlossen wird.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
