Im aktuellen Haushaltsentwurf der Bundesregierung seien nicht genügend aktive Arbeitsmarktmittel und nicht genügend Mittel für Verwaltungskosten der Jobcenter eingeplant.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
