ünstige Flüge und dank Internet immer Kontakt nach Hause – mal hier, mal da zu arbeiten, ist kein Problem. Ein Land muss attraktiv sein, damit Arbeitskräfte bleiben. Ist Deutschland das?

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
