CDU-Vize Carsten Linnemann will eine Jobpflicht für Arbeitslose. Faktisch gibt es das im Bürgergeld bereits. Die Wirkung wäre daher überschaubar, kommentiert Tim Szent-Ivanyi.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
