Überall in Deutschland mangelt es an Fachkräften. 2022 waren es laut einer Studie besonders viele. Vor allem in sozialen und technischen Berufen fehlen qualifizierte Menschen.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
