Ost-Regierungschefs wollen Fachkräftemangel entgegenwirken

Jahrelang herrschte im Osten Deutschlands Massenarbeitslosigkeit. Doch nun zeichnet sich das Gegenteil ab: Es fehlen immer häufiger Arbeitskräfte. Das alarmiert auch die Regierungschefs der ostdeutschen Länder.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
