Zur Entwicklung des Anteils des Landes Bremen an den in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland lebenden Arbeitslosen von 2010 bis 2022. In 2022 stieg dieser Anteil auf den zweithöchsten Anteil im Beobachtungszeitraum.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
