Was kann gegen den Fachkräftemangel in Deutschland getan werden? Arbeitsagentur-Chefin Nahles kritisiert „viele Hürden“ für Zuwanderer. Das eigentliche Problem sieht sie aber woanders.

Demokratie und Sozialstaat gehören zusammen. Die Bürger in einer Demokratie brauchen Ausbildung und Auskommen, sie brauchen eine leidlich gesicherte Existenz. Das Leben wird weiterhin ungerecht beginnen und es wird ungerecht enden. Dass es dazwischen einigermaßen gerecht zugeht – dafür gibt es den Sozialstaat.“
